Sunday 11/5/23 Afternoon Slate

As the morning games come into halftime, we’ve already smashed a couple of lines and things are looking good. I’ve done some research on the afternoon games and found a line in each of them that I like. This afternoon, I think it’s time for some of the studs to earn their paychecks. There’s a huge divisional matchup in Philadelphia between the Cowboys and Eagles, and two other games, Colts at Panthers and the Giants at the Raiders. Let’s take a look at the three lines I like most this afternoon.

Jonathan Taylor over 69.5 rushing yards -115

Taylor has beaten this number the past two games as his workload increases, and even though Zack Moss continues to play well, the Colts are not going to stop running any time soon. The Panthers are allowing the fourth most rushing yards per game at 139, and the Colts have a great chance to surpass this total this afternoon.

Saquon Barkley over 77.5 rushing yards -125

Another of the league’s premier backs is looking at a road matchup against the pitiful Raiders. A week after firing their head coach and general manager, the Raiders will look to rally in Danny Dimes’ return for the Giants. Vegas has the third worst rush defense in the league allowing 140 yards per game on the ground, and I would think the Giants will get him going early to ease the burden on Daniel Jones in his return.

CeeDee Lamb over 76.5 receiving yards -125

The Eagles have allowed an 80+ yard receiver in each of the last four games, and are coming off 397 passing yards to Sam Howell. CeeDee will have plenty of chances to make plays in this game, and he’s been heating up as of late this season, with over 115 receiving yards in the last two games. I think he can do it again this weak against a leaky Philadelphia pass defense.
